Hip Hop historically existed as a man of industry. As a reflection of urban life and struggle, the last Hip-Hop artists were forced to maintain a certain level of masculinity, so they brought their urban communities. Old school rappers who talked about love were often viewed as soft or corny. Because of this perception of the existence of the love of Hip-Hop is a fairly new concept. As the movement has received support and recognition in the world, love is becoming increasingly common theme in Hip-Hop music and poetry. However, there are still a taboo. Even today, Hip-Hop artists and poets present their stories of love in a way that allows them to maintain a socially acceptable identity. Hip Hop stories about love must still meet the male ideology, in which the movement is rooted in order to be perceived as a real and valid. The purpose of this study is to analyze the narratives and love Hip-Hop artists like to present these stories of love in order to build a socially acceptable identity. I believe personal narrative closely associated with the construction of identity. It is through personal narrative that people can enumerate life-changing event, the realization of socially acceptable behavior and create individual identities. I studied and developed several Hip-Hop love songs and analyzing the text with lyricism, like poetry. In my research, I found five common narrative form used Hip-Hop poets tell their stories of love: contrast, the perception, spiritual, and conversational metaphor. These five narrative forms are used not only to introduce the history correctly, but also to maintain a positive perception in the community felt that perhaps this sensitivity, as weakness or disrespectable. I plan to demonstrate each of the narrative form and show how poets use them to tell their love stories in the creation of acceptable identity. In contrast narrative One of the most common forms of Hip-Hop love stories are contrasting interlocutor. Many artists use Hip-Hop music and poetry to tell stories about the negative surrounding cities. In contrast narrative allows the poet to express their love, in contrast, although the negative construction of identity acceptable, because the negative is real and understood in the urban communities. A great introductory example, in contrasting narrative is the following passage from Method Man in "All I Need": Back when I was nothin " You made his brother feel like he had somethin " That is why I am with you on this day not boo frontin & 39; Even when the skies were gray You would rub me on my back and say & 39;Baby, this will Window " In this song, the poet uses contrasting narrative to show their love for someone who supported it when "the sky was gray." He said of his love interest, as someone who helped him get through troubled times, ensuring thus a positive contrast to its negative surroundings. Another example of love contradictory description can be seen in the transition from the Guru in "All I Said": That peace of mind, it was there to help me stay sane Alleged help with the pain, ostensibly to help me save In this song, Guru uses contrasting narrative to share their view of what love should be. He acknowledged that his "mad world" and that his love interest is the one man who can make it bearable. In "She Trying" Bubba Sparxx uses contrasting narrative story to tell that really reminds his love being there for him when he had trouble with the law: A fly country girl, just workin & 39;their gifts My Queen She was a virgin, I think But I do not ever ask, and I will never say But Betty was cash every time I went to prison This song also shows the use of contrasting narrative to express love. Although the poet confesses spending a lot of time in prison, Betty always there to save it won, again acting as a positive contrast to his troubles. In the narrative of perception Another common descriptive Hip-Hop love stories is the perception of the interlocutor. As contradictory description, the description is a negative perception that surrounds the poet in life. But instead of this love as opposed to negative, which the poet uses the narrative to explain how the love that has changed his or her previous negative perceptions. This narrative form also allows the poet to build a socially acceptable person in connection with the recognition of the negative urban life. In "Jazzy Belle, Andre of Outkast perception uses narrative to tell how his former love has changed its perception of women: Issued from yellin & 39;crickets and Crow, witches and hoes to Queen thangs For many years I was on my feet and I saw thangs Now I& 39;m willin & 39;to go extra kilo - Meter just see my senorita get her pillows On the side of my bed, where a girl will never stop House doctor and games we used to play But now it is real Jazzy Belle … In this song, Andre talks about personal perception changes caused by love. He acknowledged that while he believes women as witches and hoes. "However," this is real, and he has a new perception of women as the "Queen of thangs." Another good example of how perception description can be found in the following passage in Black Star "Brown Skin Lady": I do not get many compliments, but I am sure Used to be difficult, gettin & 39;too complex You received me willin & 39;to try, looked me in the eye My head is still in the sky, as you go through In this example, the poet recognizes that the relationship, but also tells how love has helped them overcome those problems. Poet love interest helped him change his perception of love and fear "gettin & 39;too complicated." In "Ms. Fat Booty" Mos Def further illustrates this point, showing the perception of other people and appeal to their love as it is different: Yo, let me apologize for the other night I know it is not right, but you know the child, as he Some brothers are comin right I understand I& 39;m feelin & 39;you In addition, "Can I have a dance?" It is not original, that In this song, the poet uses the perception of the narrative admit that some men "will not comin right, but he has a different perception of women than men. In "Come Close", "Common perception uses narrative to express love, as has enabled him to change his old ways: I want to build it, you tribe To protect and provide for you The truth, I can not hide from you In pimp in me In May, die with you Though the poet used as a "pimp", the term for the urban man who romances a large number of women, he tells how his love interest has changed its actions and perceptions. Spiritual description A third common form of Hip-Hop love stories that I would like to refer to as the spiritual interlocutor. Spiritual narrative description is based on the poet in love as a kind of godly time, the spiritual force, or royalty, often with a sense that history enumerator must protect the force. Spiritual narrative storyteller allows to build an acceptable characterizing personality, love as a spiritual, or even in advance. More examples of spiritual description can be found in this passage Beginning "You Got Me": Someone told me that life on this planet was small We use to live in the same building on the same floor And never previously met So far I have to travel abroad And peep this Ethiopian Queen of Philly Taking classes overseas Here, the poet uses to describe the spiritual narrative time, place and emotion that his love was founded, referring to them as if they were somehow to happen. , " ", . In "Language of Love", Talib Kweli also uses spiritual narrative form and refers to his love as a royalty: Now, if they call your name, you Then it is another matter All but the Queen I am going to go to war, as King This example demonstrates the protection of the spiritual aspect of the overall narrative of love. Poet finds unacceptable for all of you call your name, or, in other words, rules on the use of language to his love. If someone were to do so, he would "go to war as the King", and thus ensure his masculinity. In "Mind Sex" Dead Prez uses narrative to speak of spiritual love introductions: The African Princess, I say yo interests Wait, let me guess, boo, you will like poetry Here& 39;s a little something I jotted in case I discovered around you So let me take this opportunity In this song, the poet uses spiritual narrative story to tell about opening a conversation he had with the love interest. He refers to her as an "African Princess, again showing a trend of poets who use spiritual narrative to refer to his love interest as royalties. In conversational narrative Fourth common form of Hip-Hop for love stories is conversational interlocutor. In conversational narrative allows the poet to recite or recreate a conversation with his or her love and present it as play as a story of love and concrete experience. Love conversational narrative tend to be introductory speech, and respect for, and most often used as a tool to tell a story about the first meeting or impression. These descriptive storyteller permit to construct a reasonable person, mainly because they often include a lot of respect for smoothly structured, and the poet looks cool ladies man. More example of the love of the spoken description can be found this excerpt from Dead Prez "said former" Sex Mind ": Pardon me happy, but you seem like my type In case you today? You have to stop on the site We could, coiled some weeds play some records and talk I fly spot city Brooklyn, NY In this example, a reading of the poet conversation between himself and love interest. Like many conversational sections, it has been in meeting someone for the first time. Poet history of the girls said that he had met "as [ed] as my type." Then interviews: "What do you case today, and follows with a list of charming speech, in an attempt to establish a social relationship with a girl. In a similar narrative, "Beautiful Skin, Goodie Mob, the following conversational narrative to retell the first phone call he had with his love interest: This Carlito with a couple of days ago, you sound tired Forgive me if I called you too late But what better time to include mind-states? Where could I begin? Li anyone ever told you, "You have been beautiful skin & 39;? This example also illustrates the use of spoken language at the introductory narrative. The poet asked his love interest if she would like to "relate mind-states" or know each other. He then tells her that it is "beautiful skin, often successfully introductory supplement given to women. Cee Lo, the following conversational part of the "Slum Beautiful": Look at you, incredible, brilliant beautiful you Are you looking for a deliciously divine darling, you really and truly do The idea has me running at the speed of love Examining all of you from the ground to God above In this song, the poet uses conversational narrative to speak directly through his love songs. Pay attention to a wide range of respect in this section, as well as charm, again illustrating the overall aspect of the spoken narrative. In narrative metaphor This fifth form of Hip-Hop love stories, perhaps the most interesting. This metaphor of the interlocutor. In narrative metaphor used when the poet speaks of love in the sort of a metaphor. The most popular and socially acceptable form of descriptive uses the metaphor of Hip-Hop, as a metaphor. Many followers of the movement believe Hip-Hop as a driving force for love and happiness in life. Thus, many metaphorical love narrative revolve around Hip-Hop itself. A good example of such a metaphorical description is the following passage from the Black Eyed Peas& 39; Rap Song ": Yo, she got the thigh to hop And it is not goin & 39;pop It seems that I want to rock When I was rollin & 39;in my drive cruisin& 39; down my block In this example, the poet actually used a unique play on words and spoke about love interest as a metaphor for Hip-Hop. It refers to the man, I wish that the cliff. " The group also expressed metaphor in the following passage: It seems to beat that, I want to get a microphone She, like songs that I would like to list It is as old school mic cable with You can bring your records and I bring Povorotnaya yo Again, the poet relates to his love interest to the other things he and his audiences love, including "old school mic cable, reading with lyricism and spinning records on a turntable. Another good example of metaphorical narrative in the Beginning "Act Too love my life": Learnin & 39;the ropes from the ghetto survival Peepin "from the situation, I have to slide through If we look back to me plus my my hand too When he came to gettin & 39;mine clearance, I do not try to argue Sometimes I wouldn& 39;ta made it if it was not for you Hip Hop, you love my life, and this is true This passage is unique because it is used as a metaphor and contrasting narrative techniques. Poet relates to Hip-Hop, as a "love of my life" at the same time shows how love, which creates a positive contrast to the rigid "ghetto ropes of survival". The poet acknowledges that he "wouldn& 39;ta made it if it is not for you", showing that his love for Hip-Hop has been and is the driving force in his life. And this leads us to the most popular Hip-Hop love metaphorical narrative of our time. In "I Used to Love HER" Common Sense uses the metaphor of the narrative to express their love of Hip-Hop. It begins with the narrative in the following provision: I met this girl when I was ten years And what I loved doing it so much soul It was old school when I was just a shorty Never knew throughout his life, it will be me there In this example, the poet starts to leave history to say he met the girl when he "ten years", and how it has always existed for him. Poet continues to use the metaphor of descriptive talk about this girl, including the good times and the difficulties they face together. Not until the end of poems makes the listener really realize that the song is all metaphor. In the song ends with the following passage: I see rappers slammin & 39;it, and takin& 39; it to the sewage But I take it back hopin & 39;that stop things Cause who I talkin & 39;bout y& 39;all is Hip-Hop In this song, the poet has used the metaphor to tell the narrative story of the love of his life, the struggle she faces, and his desire to save her. After all, he recognizes that this love is not real people, and his love for Hip-Hop. Introduction of Hip-Hop love narrative is a very difficult task. To talk about love, and even build a socially acceptable urban identity, artists, as fulfill one of the five successful love narrative form. I believe that our society analysis of Hip-Hop music and culture lackluster at best. In Hip-Hop love descriptive above could become the basis for much of sociolinguistic and linguistic studies. They not only presented in the form of various forms of narrative, but they also include deep thought, perception and analysis of the urban environment that characterizes all of the majority of American society. Based on the analysis and study of these descriptive love, linguists can come to a better understanding and appreciation of the Hip-Hop language, literature and, eventually, the culture.
